LZ-PMC is specialized in implementing and managing Lean Construction Management tools & techniques. Our experts have successfully transformed several projects to Lean Construction environment and have witnessed incredible improvements in productivity rates, pace of project progress, and cost saving within minimal period of time.
Shortcut to Competitive Pricing
Reduced waste and enhanced quality
Advanced execution–less fire-fighting
Improved operations–smoother flows
Reduced operating costs
Continuous Improvement and Enhanced Productivity Rates
With weekly results, Trends and Potential Risks are much easier to identify and take corrective actions before they become a problem.
Weekly results include a reliable analysis of the factors affecting performance, highlight the real problems hindering progress, and make efficiently improve productivity by knowing what action exactly is needed.
BIM & Clashes Detection/Resolution
The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one of the most important tools of Lean Construction Management
Minimize the time of your installations works using Building Information Modeling and resolution of clashes prior to starting installation.
Accurate and fast material take-off and quantity surveying
Easily produce shop drawings
Continuous Flow
One of the main objectives of transforming to Lean Construction Environment.
LZ-PMC experts are talented in planning project works in a way that minimizes idling and waiting time of all project teams.
Using methods like Line of Balance or Continuous Flow to adjust the pace of progress of different interfering tasks ensures optimum productivity rates, best learning curve, and minimum cost.
Visual Guidelines, Procedures, and Reporting
Do NOT get lost in the details and manage the project efficiently using professional visual reports tailored for your project
Respect All Team Members, and Enhanced Team Buy-in
Lean Construction Management relies on getting all stakeholders involved, as early as possible, and plan the project execution based on their feedback. This also includes trades and specialties contractors and site supervisors which ensures accurate reliable plans and enhanced team buy-in.
Last Planner® System (LPS®) Implementation
Implementation of the Last Planner® results in more reliable flow and higher productivity rates. It also lists the genuine problems hindering progress, which makes the corrective actions taken more efficient. Using 5-Why Analysis, Pareto Charts, 80/20 rule, and other methods to identify the genuine root causes of the problem had proven that it frequently happens that the genuine root causes are different from what execution team(s) report prior to analysis.
Implementation of Last Planner System costs a minimal budget as it does not require any special expensive software or tools.
Interactive Planning / Pull Planning
Well-Experienced planners know that without Pull Planning, the time schedule and project plan will be loaded with tons of unnecessary/misleading information, resulting in an unrealistic plan or at best case a plan that will not be relevant after 2-3 updates. This is one of the main reasons Pull Planning (Also known as: Reverse Phase Scheduling or Interactive Planning) became a core principle to be adapted in order to produce a reliable plan.
Our experts will facilitate interactive planning sessions as and when needed. With broad experience of the EPCM projects details, we facilitate interactive planning session(s) with your team(s) where we gather their scattered input, coordinates it with our understanding of the details, and put together to produce a realistic plan, which becomes the basis of time schedule.
Our experience facilitating numerous pull planning sessions will ensure we capture all the details, and discuss whatever was missed by the team members participating in the session.
Our Tools & Techniques
We have accumulated tons of experience utilizing the below sample tools and techniques, which give best results and greatly enhance projects performance
Pull planning [For Accurate Planning that focuses only on things that matter, without the distractions of unnecessary details]
Last Planner® System (LPS®) [Involving those who execute the work and utilize their detailed experience to help project success]
BIM [Minimize installations reworks on site]
Constraints log [Identification & Analysis of obstacles to further progress]
Prerequisites dashboard [Visual Report to present project status and readiness in a glance]
Daily Huddle Meetings and daily informal follow-ups [For better coordination and immediate understanding of the project and its arising topics that require a prompt attention]
PDCA (Plan do check adjust) [To continuously improve the plan to a better plan]
Visual Management [Makes following guidelines, instructions, and procedures much easier and efficient]
Just in Time [Planning efficiently to avoid waste of waiting/idling/storage costs/re-transportation/potential damage/etc.]
80%/20% and Pareto Chart [Use minimal effort to achieve majority of the objectives]
Continuous Flow and Line of Balance [Minimize waste, optimize performance and improve learning curve]
5 Whys[Identify root cause to solve it, most of the causes first reported do not include the real root cause]
Process Improvement (Kaizen) [Small continuous improvements cumulate to huge improvement]
